Your tasks

You will set up and continuously optimize our Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system.
You proactively monitor our systems and networks for security incidents and anomalies.
You will carry out threat analyses and derive preventive measures from them.
As part of our agile security incident response team, you will coordinate and manage security incidents - from detection to resolution.
You will play an active role in identifying, assessing and prioritizing vulnerabilities in our IT infrastructure and applications.
You will coordinate cooperation with Security Operations Center (SoC) service providers.
You will be responsible for preparing regular reports on the security status, incidents and vulnerabilities.

You have a successfully completed degree with a focus on IT/computer science or a corresponding vocational training.
You have relevant (professional) experience in the field of information security, cyber security and IT security as well as in the implementation of relevant measures.
You have in-depth knowledge of the configuration and administration of common SIEM solutions (e.g. Splunk, Elastic SIEM, Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRadar).
Ideally, you have certifications in the area of information security, such as ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz or CISSP.
You already have experience in analyzing logs, network traffic and system events to identify security threats.
You are familiar with the detection, processing and documentation of security incidents.
Strong communication skills and a high level of self-discipline are among your strengths.
You are characterized by reliability and an independent way of thinking and working.
Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working round off your profile.
You are fluent in written and spoken German and English.
